A scenic view across this incredible Colorado trout fishing spot, Cottonwood Lake lined with the colorful changing fall foliage of the aspen trees in the autumn season.

Cottonwood Lake is located inside South Cottonwood Canyon in the San Isabel National Forest, approximately eight miles west of Buena Vista, Colorado.  Buena Vista is a very cool small town to visit.  Cottonwood pass is one of the best scenic drives in Colorado.  It goes over from Buena Vista to Crested Butte.

Arizona Sun

Here is another from our trip to Arizona for the Thanksgiving holiday.   I was able to get up in the early morning hours before everyone got up to get this and be back for a full day.   It was clear blue skies the whole time we were there so the sky was not spectacular and this is one I came up with.  Shooting right into the sun with high f stop makes for a star effect. A scenic landscape view of the Arizona Sonoran desert as the blazing sun rises over the mountains.

Rainbow Over Rollinsville

Part of a double rainbow over Rollinsville Colorado. The population as of the 2010 Census was 181. It is located in the mountains southwest of the city of Boulder, on the flank of a hill above South Boulder Creek along State Highway 119 between Nederland and Black Hawk. It consists of a small cluster of residences and several businesses at the terminus of the road leading westward up to Rollins Pass at the summit of the Front Range.
