A day in the life of a storm catcher, Bo Insogna, aka The Lightning Man, July 3rd, 2014 at sunset.  There was some lightning later this night.  Did chase it but it died out and was not active enough to get what I was looking for.

Chasing The Storm

Black and White and Color combo processing. Chasing The Storm - County Rd 95 and Highway 52 - Colorado. This was a fun storm chase that went on till 4:30 am.  This was an eastern fast pace moving storm.  The chase is not about the storm itself fot me, I spend most of my time trying to get compositions I am working on.   This will be my 24th year, at this point in my career I like to pick the storms I want to go after or wait for them to come to me.  This one got chased due east on Highway 52, from Boulder County to North East of Denver International Airport.  This is a few images layered together making for a very long exposure.
