Pumpkin Pumpkin

Pumpkin pumpkin  close up and personal. Pumpkins are one of my favorite plants in the garden. They really complete the fall harvest. This year we put too many seeds in the garden and ended up with only a couple small ones.  Then this plant showed up in the front yard and was amazing to watch how big it got from one seed and plant.  We always carve and and cook the seeds on Halloween and our Fall is super complete!  Loved the way this pumpkin looked.   Hope you enjoy this pumpkin close up abstract fine art.

Tomatillos

Tomatillo (toe-ma-tee-ohs) – Tomatillos are also called “tomate verde” in Mexico (which means green tomato) and are considered a staple in Mexican cooking. The tomatillo is a plant of the nightshade family, related to the cape gooseberry, bearing small, spherical and green or green-purple fruit of the same name. Tomatillos originated in Mexico, and are a staple of that country’s cuisine.

Colorful Indian Corn

Colorful indian corn from my garden. Love the colors in these. The Squirrels seem to love them too. I got this one before he did. We have had a battle over the grapes and the corn. I like to plant this for fall decorations with the pumpkins for Halloween and thanksgiving. Albino Bullnose Pepper Food Photography

A bunch of green peppers and one albino bullnose pepper. Was at the Boulder County Colorado farmers market in Longmont and this caught my eye. If you have not been there in a while you should check it out. Lots of parking and space to move around, not like the one in Boulder. They have a new shelter and had live music with lots and lots of venders. Every Saturday and Sunday during the summer months. A Fun time!
