Clouds Hanging On Longs Peak and Mt Meeker Time Lapse Video

Time Lapse of the Twin Peaks, Mount Meeker  13,911 feet and Longs Peak 14,256 feet in elevation in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.  This was shot at sunset but there was really not much color like a good Colorado sunset. Was hoping for a better sky so will be back here to do it again.   Normally the Clouds go in and out really fast but this was a very windy day and these cloud hung close to the Peaks.   Hope you enjoy.  Music  Music: Kevin MacLeod  www.incompetech.com  “Constancy Part Three”.

Praying Monk a Lightning Thunderstorm Poster

After chasing the storm to the top of the Praying Monk and getting the Big bang Lightning halo... I readjusted and got this image. The Praying Monk is a rock formation on the side of the famous Camelback mountain that sits in between Phoenix and Scottsdale Arizona. From the first time I saw this I was always fascinated with it and thought It would make a great spiritual shot with lightning striking making the Monk come alive. This is a shot I worked on for three years. This is the real deal. I can not tell you how many times I went to my spot on the top side of this mountain and got nothing. This night was one of my most scariest nights chasing lightning. Nothing like being on the top of a huge rock with a tripod trying to get a shot. This storm circled the mountains and swung around the back side and came back around to me. This was a very exciting night of chasing lightning. Two texture layers added. This was the first shot that got a little blown out it was an extreme bolt of energy. Nothing like being on the top of a huge rock with a metal tripod trying to get a shot for three years. This storm circled the mountains and swung around the back side and came back around to me. This was a very exciting night of chasing lightning. After this, I took off and did the chase to north Scottsdale. This is the first one of the five images in this series. © 2011 James Insogna 1-888-682-0122

1983 AMC Eagle 4 Wheel Drive back end

1983 AMC Eagle 4 Wheel Drive back end close up. Fine Art photography prints and canvas art by James Insogna (C) 2011 .In August 1979, for the 1980 model year, AMC introduced four-wheel drive versions of the Spirit and Concord, calling the collective line the AMC Eagle. Eagles rapidly became one of the company's best-known products and is considered one of the first "crossover SUVs". Eagles used the 2-wheel drive body shells mounted on an all-new platform developed by American Motors in the late 1970s. Featuring an innovative full-time four-wheel drive system, it sold best in snow-prone areas. Sales started strongly but declined over time. While the two-wheel drive Spirit and Concord were both discontinued after 1983 as the company concentrated on its new Renault Alliance, the Eagle survived for five years longer, albeit only in station wagon form, into the 1988 model year. This meant the four-wheel drive Eagle was the lone representative of the AMC brand from 1984–1988. All the company's remaining output was branded Renault or Jeep. The last AMC Eagle was built on December 14, 1987. Source: Wikipedia
