Autumn A Wonderful Time of Year
Nature showing off her colors with a scenic landscape view in the autumn season this is in Boulder County Colorado. A fantastic view at a great fishing spot, McCall Lake west of Hygiene. Autumn is starting to bloom in the lower elevation, a view of the freshly dusted rocky mountains Longs Peak 14,256 at sunset.

Colorado Summer Sunset
July 24th 2014, an incredible sunset that no image would do justice. This is a view to the NW to the Rocky Mountain foothills, a country lake in north east Boulder County Colorado and colorful sunset sky.

Rollinsville Colorado Sunset
A scenic landscape view of the small town of Rollinsville Colorado in Gilpin County with the reflection of a beautiful sunset sky in a calm lake. Rollinsville is located in the mountains southwest of the city of Boulder, on the flank of a hill above South Boulder Creek along State Highway 119 between Nederland and Black Hawk. It consists of a small cluster of residences and several businesses at the terminus of the road leading westward up to Rollins Pass at the summit of the Front Range and continental divide. The population as of the 2010 Census was 181.

Golden Ponds Scenic Sunset Reflections 3
A beautiful spring night after a great two day rain, golden ponds sunset reflections. Longmont Colorado, Boulder County. Number 3 in this series. The Golden Ponds land was donated to the City of Longmont by the V.V. Golden Foundation. Vernon Golden, who had mined gravel on this site, donated the land to Longmont citizens as a place to fish, walk and enjoy nature. A bronze sculpture of ‘Vern’ helping a small boy fish was donated by the family and is located along the path just West of the parking lot. With a magnificent view of Longs Peak and the Front Range, this park features 94 acres with 56 acres of water surface in four ponds.

Twin Peaks Blue
A scenic landscape view through a large winter cottonwood tree from McIntosh lake in Longmont, Colorado, Boulder County. Clear blue sky view of the Twin Peaks, Mt Meeker 13,911 ft and Longs Peak 14,256 ft with geese hanging out on the semi frozen lake. ( Prints for sale online – Twin Peaks Blue ) History – The lake was called Dawson after John Dawson (1839-1917) before taking the name McIntosh. Dawson joined the Chicago-Colorado Colony in 1871, and farmed east of Hygiene. In 2003, the City leased the surface rights to the lake with the intention of creating a district park which will link Dawson Park, Flanders Park and Boulder County’s Lohr Open Space.

Lightning Thunderstorm Above Terry Lake Colorado
Scenic view from the northeast end of Boulder County from 75th street north of 66 looking southeast over Terry Lake. Lightning strikes were hitting hard C2C and C2G west on the Colorado Rocky Mountain foothills. I started shooting here and then switched to the west. Nature putting on a great light show this night. The storm was up and down the front range ins foothills as well as hitting in the east.

Natures Light Show Over The Boulder Reservoir
A scenic overlook view from highway 36, of a massive lightning thunderstorm over the Boulder Colorado Reservoir and Coot lake behind it. Fireworks may be banned because of the fire ban, but there is nothing like nature putting on a great light show especially on this evening. This is 6 images stacked that would be equal to a three minute long exposure.
